I haven’t trained in a gym for three years and wanted to setup a home regime. After careful scrutiny, I selected the Harison Weight Bench. I was forewarned that it was going to take some time to receive the bench and that was alright from my perspective. The bench came in by UPS and it appeared to be in good order. Upon moving the heavy-duty carton and then opening it — I readily realized that this weight bench was going to be MUCH BETTER than anticipated! The sheer weight of each component was exceptional (I am 6’2″ and weigh 225 lbs). The assembly directions were excellent and easily followed (all tools were included). The bench was larger than what I thought it was going to be and I was thrilled! My headline reads “Solid as a Rock!” — hopefully, I too will become worthy of a similar headline!

My gym has been closed for 7 months. I have been looking for a bench with a leg extension and leg curl for months.I ordered two different ones and they never arrived. I saw this one and it indicated it was “prime” and would arrive in a week. It actually arrived faster so I was very happy with that.This wasn’t that difficult to put together. But in all fairness, my 12 year old son is very good at this stuff. It took us about an hour. Now my review on the bench.For a home gym I gave this 5 stars. Obviously it is not a commercial piece of equipment.On the plus side…. It is sturdy. The bench is fine. good incline adjustments and one steep decline. (To steep IMO). The leg extension is good. The leg curl has a bit of limited range of motion. The preacher curl works better with dumbbells and setting the pin very high. The few negatives, 1. Each adjustment on the bench requires twisting the knob and pulling the pin. Opposed to just pulling the pin. So a bit of a pain. But safer.2. The bench is on the wider side. I prefer a narrow bench. This is just a personal preference.All in all, I have to say I am happy with it. If you don’t normally work out in a gym, this will be perfect. If you do, then just recognize you get what you pay for and it is not commercial equipment.

This is my second weight bench. I don”t think you could find a better non-commercial bench. It has welds where most of the other cheaper benches have bolts, the sponge roller pads are covered with a vinyl/leather style wrapper and not just the sponge rubber unprotected. The bench pads are firm and seem pretty durable, and they give me good support. When the preacher pad is easily taken off ( it has a spring pin and tightening knob rather than the removable and losable pin) I get full motion on leg extensions and curls. The only minor irritant is I have to remove the leg attachment to use the preacher pad for arms, but that’s normal for an all-in-one weight bench. I’m 6’2″ and have no problem using the bench. The only complaint I have is that I thought I was going to get a set of pushup handles free but they charged me. I just returned them.

As someone who has been putting together what seems to be a lot of gym equipment lately, this one impressed me. The instructions and labeling of the install kit is the best I’ve ever see. It’s very study, it’s very high quality and the fit of the assembly was perfect. I haven’t used it yet, but just seeing how well they focused on details, I’m glad I purchased.

I’ve had this bench for one month. Overall its is well built and functions exactly how I wanted it. First of all the leg extension and curls work as advertised. You can’t fully curl but again that is not needed since most of the work should be in the inital 45 degrees. Some fool has a video doing leg extension with the arm curl attachment there. Either he doesn’t now how the bench works or he has ulterior motives. You need to move the arm curl attachment to do the leg extension. its easy to take on and off. The few issues I have is that Adjustable Balance Knob can totally come off and then you have to put them back in. That should not happen. Secondly, adjusting the bench a two step process and can slow down your workout by unscrewing and pulling the plug out and then putting it back it. It should just be a pull and move to the next area to lock like most benches. This bench is unique on amazon with with functional leg ext and curls while not perfect it is the best available and would buy it again.

Item came damaged from FedEx. Stop using FedEx is the driver cannot lift the packages correctly. That is what dollys are for. However, HARISON customer service provide me a parts replacement as their promise. After assemble found this is a perfect home gym bench for leg workout!

The product is good quality and able to manage my husband and son’s routine. My reason for 4 stars is the adjustable knob for uneven surfaces does not really make a difference in leveling. The adjustable feature was the main reason that I bought this product. Also, the free product was not sent with the bench.I had an issue with the pin to lock the bench in place. I contacted Harison and they immediately agreed to sent a replacement pin (delivery in transit).Great customer service with an immediate reply and quick resolution.
